MainStreet Makeover is a movement to revitalize America, one MainStreet at a time — restoring communities to thriving, wealth generating centers of connection. Through community investment and design-led transformation, we elevate interiors, lighting, and streetscapes—creating MainStreets that fuel local pride, economic renewal, and sustainability.

We are pleased to showcase our first MainStreet Makeover, which took place at Purple Carrot Bread Co. in Lowell Ma. Doug and Alaina have been working 14 hour days, 7 days per week since I met them in 2016, service made-from scratch bread and meals.

Managing to operate a full-service cafe in Downtown Lowell as well as the summer and winter farmer’s market left little time or money to create a space they and their customer’s could truly enjoy. Proceeds from Ground & Sky Design were used to provide Purple Carrot Bread Co. a mini facelift.
